Aeon will open the first of its Picard franchise frozen food stores in Aoyama in late November. Picard is famous for its wide selection of frozen foods, particularly sea food and desserts, and has 1,000 stores across France, Italy and Belgium. In addition to stand alone stores, Aeon will open Picard corners in its own stores too.
The venture in Japan is being operated by Aeon Saveur, a 100% owned subsidiary set-up specifically to develop the chain.
